CTTAM's operations are now virtual!
Reducing our office footprint with staff working remotely and providing member services is now a viable option.
Winnipeg, MB, June 15, 2020 — The Certified Technicians & Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) has transitioned to a virtual model, and have now vacated our 602 - 1661 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, office. CTTAM has secured an alternative workspace, Launch Coworking - Southside, which provides CTTAM staff and the CEO & Registrar a "drop in" place to work from on an ad hoc basis. CTTAM is able to hold meetings at the alternative workplace when it is safe to do so.
“The COVID-19 pandemic caused organizations to rethink their operations and CTTAM needs the fluidity to meet the challenges of a virtual workplace and avail our services to our clients,” said Robert D. Okabe, CTTAM CEO & Registrar.
"While our staff won’t be physically traveling to an office every day, this choice does not change the level of services, support and value we provide to our members. A new future is taking shape and we are excited.”
As a reminder to our Members, you have to call CTTAM at 204-784-1081 or 204-784-1082 to book an appointment. Please note that appointments will only be booked when it is safe to gather in person. In addition, video meetings are also available via ZOOM or Microsoft Teams.
Over the past 55 years, CTTAM has supported the recognition of engineering technologists and technicians for their important role in engineering technology and applied sciences. Our primary purpose is the certification and regulation of our Members.
