CTTAM has established several Awards to acknowledge advancements in technology and the contributions made by individuals, both members and non-members, business and industry, and governments to promote the Technology profession and for their support of the Association and its purposes.

OUTSTANDING TECHNICAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
This prestigious award is bestowed upon a registered CTTAM member who has demonstrated technical achievements that distinguish them in their profession. Their achievements have contributed positively to the advancement and recognition of engineering technology in Manitoba. The award recognizes and honours those who have demonstrated this excellence in their technical discipline or in areas of management, education or administration.
Assessment consideration includes, but is not limited to:
- Technical Accomplishments
- Technical Insight/Innovation
- Business Acumen
- Advancement of Engineering Technology
- Community Contributions
- Exemplary Ethical Behavior
EMPLOYER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
This award recognizes outstanding technical achievement by employers of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists in Manitoba. The employer may be recognized for a single, exceptional accomplishment or a long record of continuing excellence. Activities must be worthy of the designation "outstanding" in their contribution to engineering technology in Canada and might include:
- Development and implementation of a new product, process or technique
- Design, operation, or construction of significant or unique project representative of engineering technology
- An innovative technical solution to an environmental, community, or social problem; or research leading to application of new knowledge
- Exceptional encouragement of individual technical enterprise, technicians and technologists
- Service to the community
This award is available to business firms, crown corporations, government agencies, individual entrepreneurs, associations, research and development agencies, and educational institutions.
CANADIAN COUNCIL OF TECHNICIANS AND TECHNOLOGISTS
NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The National Achievement Award recognizes individual technicians or technologists affiliated with one of the constituent member (CM) associations of Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists (CCTT), for achievements in one of the recognized disciplines of registration in engineering or applied science technology.
The recipient of the CTTAM Outstanding Technical Achievement Award will be submitted to CCTT for consideration in the National Achievement Award competition.
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
To recognize outstanding contributions by a CTTAM member who has volunteered his/her time to promote and further the cause of CTTAM and its membership.
Volunteer of the Year is awarded to a CTTAM member that has made significant contributions to CTTAM and the promotion of CTTAM's vision and mission through participation in CTTAM committees and CTTAM sponsored events such as; Career Symposiums, National Technology Week, workshops, and seminars. This award is presented at the CTTAM Annual General Meeting in recognition of volunteers and their immense value as a resource contributing to a vibrant CTTAM organization.
STUDENT VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD
To recognize a student member that has volunteered his/her time towards activities that promote and further the cause of CTTAM and its membership while obtaining an education.
Student Volunteer of the Year is awarded to a student member that has made significant contributions to CTTAM and the promotion of CTTAM's vision and mission to students. This award recognizes exceptional efforts made by the volunteer in increasing awareness of CTTAM and contributing to increased membership among students, through participation in CTTAM committees or CTTAM sponsored events such as; Career Symposiums, National Technology Week, workshops, and seminars. Recipients for this award are selected by the PR and Membership Committee based on member participation and contribution. This award will be presented at the CTTAM Annual General Meeting.
CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION
This Certificate (Plaque) is awarded to deserving organizations, societies, members and non-members who have made significant contributions to CTTAM and its members or one of its committees. These contributions may include but are not limited to retiring committee or board chairs, significant sponsors or organizers of CTTAM member events.
